This is brilliant. It will take you as long or a short time as you have although it probably depends whether you are reading this anywhere near another human being because if you are I promise you that you will drive them quietly insane to such an extent that if they ever hear the words ' oh good grief you so have to hear this one ' once more they will knife you. This does add a few minutes to the reading experience. It is such a simple but clever concept. Each day has its positives, negatives, traumas induced and other details like who saw and sometimes a fun fact but my personal favourite is the ' duration ' box....circumcision...duration...two bites of a bagel; music practice....duration...till you get it right; bank hostage...duraton...depends how good the negotiator is. Silly but fun. I did try to tick off any of this type of day I had encountered,very few...in the immortal words of Adrain Mole ' That is what comes of being brought up in a cul de sac'

Nothing to say much. This can be a pastime reading, like waiting for coffee or something. This is like a Facebook or Tinder writing style, so I may say that it is not entirely boring, but this is not entirely amazing either.

Does it show a worse day? For me, it was just 10% that reflected WHAT WORSE DAY IS. This book is too much in 'America perspective'. Actually, I can call this a WHITE BOOK as a genre.

Aside from a past time reading, I can say that you may use this as a "cheat book," for the Reading Challenge. Like you can totally finish this within 30 mins. It is too short a reading. Perfect for waiting for your order.

This is a quick read, and granted there are some humorous lines, but it just doesn't live up to the promise of the title and the back cover which is a photograph of 3 children, dressed up circa 1970 perhaps, 2 of them with white eye patches. That intrigued me right off the bat. The authors list 50 things that could be worse than your day using a variety of examples ("SATs", "Jury Duty", "Misspelled Tattoo") and include a benefit, a drawback, a hazard, a fun fact, etc. for each. There were a few laugh out loud funny lines but not enough (imo) to rate this book higher. Sorry!

There were a couple references to price points ($3 for gas or $3 for a coffee, something like that) that the author HAD to know would not age well. I don't know why this irked me as much as it did but yeah it bothered me enough that this is the first thing in the review.

Other than that it was extremely mediocre.

Neither hilarious nor outrageous. Took about 20 minutes to read. A book should take longer to read than it takes to earn the money to buy.

I re-read this yesterday after being flat on my back for a week after picking up one box too many, which resulted in an ambulance, ER, IV, and narcotics & am now hanging out on a website about books because books are the heaviest things I can currently lift. Helped me gain perspective & made me laugh.

It an easy page turner. The book allows one to reframe one's day by looking through others' worse days, including everything from pimples on Prom, hunting with Cheney, or a Bris.
Out loud laughter funny.
