Okay, first of all, these are not apartments -- these are condos. I've never had a landlord who would let me take out a wall or install a bed into the floor that raises at a flick of a switch. And who has a 6,000 square foot apartment? I sure don't. And every single picture is so sterile -- where are the coffee makers? The yarn stashes? The library books? The pile of receipts? WHO HAS A FULL-WALL BOOKCASE WITH ONLY FIVE BOOKS ON IT? I mean, I appreciate the tenants of minimalism, but this is ridiculous!

Only inspiration I got from this book was to throw out everything I own except for a vase and a chair. Sorry -- I can't live that way.

This book does have amazing apartments, but it's for those who own or have thousands of dollars. Almost every apartment dweller had walls taken down, etc. Some of the apartments were pretty and some just too white or gray.
