A trio of erotic tales of passion, adventure, and romance by the author of Hot Summer Nights includes "Hold on Tight," "Worth the Wait," and "Whip Lash," in which the owner of a sexy adult amusement park discovers an unexpected and exhilarating new world with the help of a travel writer. Original.

Published in 2003, her novels have appeared on bestselling lists including USA Today, Nielsen BookScan, Barnes and Noble and Amazon. Her books have been featured selections for Rhapsody and Doubleday Book clubs. A love of country music led her to a collaboration with superstar Wynonna Judd with the novel Restless Heart. She divides her time between Kentucky, Florida and Arizona and when she isn’t writing or reading, she enjoys cooking, beachcombing and spending time with friends and family.
This set of three stories all taking place at the Wild Ride Resort were quite good. I liked the little bit of cross-over they had (almost just a nod to the fact that there was another story -- not like you you needed to read them in order at all) -- I am also listening to The Mammoth Hunters, and the main characters in that book are doing the "I want him, but he doesn't want me..." while he is thinking "I only want her, but she has chosen someone else" thing, that the theme from all three of these stories kind of cracked me up...as it was the same theme.
Good read. Single author anthology of three sequential stories. The plot is relationship driven with characters are people you would like if you met them. The setting is a private island [you've got to wonder where they keeping digging up these private islands with enough water to support a resort:] with a small twist, a carnival with amusement park style roller coasters. The developer [hero #1:] grew up in a traveling carnival and spent his earlier life designing roller coasters and rides so his resort has both. Of course there's sex but it is more 'romance' than 'erotica'. A comfortable read with touches of humor and a warm, down-home feel. I'll look for more from this author.
Loved it but the only thing is i thought it would have been a little bit more erotic but the love scenes were still great the story and concept of the hotel were also great... A book for you to enjoy and keep for your collection...
I really enjoy erotic reading but this story left me hanging. The story line felt rushed. The story develop too fast left out details that would had enhance the story.
