A wonderful collection of famous routines from Abbott and Costello movies.
Included here are choice skits from "Buck Privates"/"Buck Privates Come Home"/"In the Navy"/"Keep 'em Flying"/"Hit the Ice"/"It Ain't Hay"/"In Society"/"The Naughty Nineties" and "Here Come the Co-Eds"- all from the 1940s when the boys were at their peak and their box office success helped keep Universal afloat during those years.

In the style of Richard Anobile's other film books of the period, the author has collected more than 600 frame blow-ups taken directly from the original negatives of these A & C films, and skilfully matched them with the classic scenes with the original dialogue as spoken on the screen.
The blow-ups have been reproduced expertly and the classic routines priceless for all those who treasure great comedy as performed by two unique performers.

The memorable "Who's on First?' skit is reproduced in its original format as seen in the 1945 "The Naughty Nineties."

Parts of my childhood was spent watching Abbott and Costello movies. My favorite set was the Who's on First? routine. I don't like baseball, but I enjoy the comedy, so it was good that this book included the lines of this classic gem. This book includes other routines from this memorable comedy team.

I found this book as a kid from my local library. I had seen some Abbott and Costello films late at night. Being able to read the jokes, and really understand them, helped me understand their humor better.
