It's just ok. Mainly bought it for ideas however I really only got a few recipes. I do prefer books with photos and there are none....which is too bad because we do "eat with our eyes" so I probably would've tried other recipes if I saw them plated.

I tried several recipes in this book and time and time again I was plesantly surprised. I originally borrowed this book from the library, but I will be purchasing my own copy for the following reasons:
- The results are quite tasty...number one reason for buying any cookbook.
- The recipes are straightforward and ingredients are accessible
- My grocery bill was cheaper while meal planning from this cookbook
- I lost weight while meal planning on this cookbook
- There are some culinary surprises and fun uses of every day ingredients that helped broaden my cooking education (always a nice plus)
Recipes you should try:
- Broccoli Soup
- Roasted Tomato Soup
- Chicken Tikka
- Cocoa Rubbed Steak
- Tofu scramble
- Blueberry Burgers

This book has a quick review of the principles of the g.i. diet and then provides 100 recipes. Recipes are provided in the usual categories (soups, salads, pastas, meatless mains, etc.).
