This book is a real gem. It is clearly written, well researched and documented, and solidly grounded in real world astronomy and geometry.

The majority of the book is taken up with the examination of Stonehenge and other stone circle monuments in Northern Europe. A variety of complicated calendrical alignments with sun and moon cycles are demonstrated, and the geometrical construction of the circles is examined.
