I loved this "Texas" series because it takes place in my home state and because it has the essence of the television series "Dallas". Fury and Sunrise are the last two books in the four book series.

Texas Fury
I think the more of these books I read, the further they get from the original family. The first one was the best IMO but they are all great reads. Its been so long since I've read these that it's hard to comment on the details but they are books worth reading again

A relative decided that I should read adult themed novels for my holidays. I was going through fantasy and young adult too often I agreed that I should. These two made me feel like I was on lengthy vacation and snuggled on the couch to watch soaps I could only wish I had time to watch. The previous novels would've been nice if I had read first. No spoilers here.

Fern Michaels isn’t a person. I’m not sure she’s an entity either since an entity is something with separate existence. Fern Michaels® is what I DO. Me, Mary Ruth Kuczkir. Growing up in Hastings, Pennsylvania, I was called Ruth. I became Mary when I entered the business world where first names were the order of the day. To this day, family and friends call me Dink, a name my father gave me when I ...more
