It was more than seven years since I took my Japanese Philosophy class seriously. This year, I tried re-reading this book which was part of my secondary sources in doing a paper on Shizuteru Ueda. All I can say, with all Jap Philo's complexities and nuances, is that I appreciate it even more with a firm theological background.
