What can I say, the journey to rekindle the sun has concluded: but at what cost? Dark champions and bringers of light that exist within the shadows. Morbid complacency and dark humor. Like the Haven series, I have enjoyed Larson's grim tale and believable characters. There were no woke feminists or emasculated men, though Therian seems a bit masochistic in some dealings. Yet there were strong men and strong women, never judging each by their gender. Same with the Haven series where the main lovers never detract from each other's ferocious handling when called upon.
