This book helped me grow deeper in my relationship with God and fall more in love with God - my favorite kind of book.

Strong book about having more than just “religion” (going to church on Sundays, etc) and actually having a relationship with God. Bringing Him into our lives all during the day, every day, and not just on Sundays. Using Him as guidance in everything we do. Very encouraging. I would recommend this book.

Although the title was meant to speak about how we can live our lives with Christ, I think it aptly describes this book’s contents as well. This is no ordinary book on Christian living. In fact, this is one of the best books I have ever read in the Christian living category (and I have hundreds of books of that genre in my personal library!).

There are two fundamental categories of things that are the most important to know the truth about. One is, who is God—what does He say about Himself—what i

This book came through my hands to give to someone else, but I took the time to read it before passing it on because I knew Doug Sherman when I lived in Colorado Springs. He was a part of the Navigator ministry while a cadet at the Air Force Academy. He was a military pilot for several years, staff member for Navigators, and a businessman. He refers fondly to his wife and three children. Lots of quotable words, but a favorite was: "Unless we are increasingly convinced that God is passionate abou ...more

This book is, without a doubt, one of the best I've ever read on Christian living. I'm so thankful God lead me to it. It couldn't have come at a better time in my life.

This book gives practical insight into how to build a strong relationship with the God who adores us, by interacting with him throughout each moment of our day. Mr. Sherman shows us how we can have deep peace, satisfaction and joy by encountering God in this way.

I would highly recommend this book to anyone that desires a deeper, m

This was an interesting book. The start was very captivating, and then the last 2/3 of the book seemed to be just saying almost the same things in slightly different ways -- talk to God constantly and do everything as to Him. An important message, to be sure, as well as the theme of giving Him credit for behind-the-scenes supernatural work like changing attitudes, giving us or a coworker a good idea, etc. To me it felt a bit repetitive in this part, though. Closing out the book in the epilogue w ...more

I liked this much more than I thought I would. Many good reminders concerning God's providence and sovereignty over our circumstances. 3.5 stars.

Loved this book. Maybe this is stuff I'd been taught before, but this time I really got something. Grateful for the author. This was a freebie on Amazon a while back. How blessed I am

This book was a bit slow at times and a little "self-helpy" at others, but I ultimately feel closer to God for having read it, and that's the whole point.
