Follow this multi-disciplinary, scientific study as it examines the evidence of a great global catastrophe that occurred only 11,500 years ago. Crustal shifting, the tilting of Earth's axis, mass extinctions, upthrusted mountain ranges, rising and shrinking land masses, and gigantic volcanic eruptions and earthquakes--all indicate that a fateful confrontation with a destru ...more

Immanuel Velikovsky rocked the scientific community in the 1950 and 60's with the publication of "Worlds in Collision," "Ages in Chaos," and "Earth in Upheaval." He proposed the unexpected and hard-to-believe thesis that early civilizations saw Venus erupt out of Jupiter, travel in an erratic orbit between Mars and Earth, and finally settle into its present orbit. He believed ancient myths telling of gods fighting in the sky and causing destruction on Earth were descriptions of what people actua ...more

This book is over 20 years old. The fact it is not better known testifies to the difficulty of challenging entrenched scientific notions, but science has a way of overcoming prejudices and so much evidence is marshaled in support of the main thesis that the book and its arguments must be taken seriously. In a nutshell, the authors review vast numbers of geological and biological sites that cannot be well-explained by conventional models of the ice age, and make a strong case that these sites are ...more

This Book Proves that the World-Wide Flood Occurred

This is definitely THE reference book to buy in hard copy and to keep in your oft-referenced go-to library. I was REALLY having a difficult time putting this book down – and I have so much else to read!

Allan and Delair have included profuse back-up documentation, referenced studies and a bibliography that is an avid researcher’s dream. As well as several Appendices that validate their contentions regarding the fact that there WAS a global delug

This is a very interesting look at a picture that is formed by puzzle pieces coming from paleontology, geology, mythology and archaeology. All these fields provide clues that point to an event that drastically affected this planet around 9,500 BCE, but most of those clues typically don't get noticed by scientists who spend most of their time focusing and specializing in their own field. This book also addresses important questions that many researchers are aware of but seldom mention, like why d ...more

Cataclysm gives compelling evidence of the great deluge described in the Bible and throughout the entire planet. Though it favors one theory explaining the cause of the flood, the book also provides alternative explanations. Cataclysm was excellently researched and presented in a highly credible manner. I would highly recommend it even to the most agnostic readers out there.
