The story was OK and the illustrations were good. It kept my daughter entertained for about ten minutes. Would recommend to fans of Nick Jr.

Fun, mindless, not moralistic. No real literary quality to speak of, but not nearly as inane as most of these TV character books.

I think I remember seeing the show that goes along with this one. It was fun to get back in touch with the Backyardigans since we haven't had cable in a long time.

A fun picture book where the backyardigans pretend to be pirates and look for treasure. A cute alphabet joke at the end for adults and older readers made me smile.
