The plan is simple: Save the world, erase your own existence. Thrown thirty-five years into the past, Derry and Taylor Brandon have the chance to alter the events that ended humanity. Easy, right? The inspiration for this book and the skeleton of the story was great- almost what you would expect from a good sci-fi movie. It had all the right characters with sordid or empty pasts who bad together to make a better future- with a few sacrifices along the way. However, in the details this book fell short for me. I enjoyed this book very much. The pacing was spot on, and I liked the characters. The only complaint I have is that I would have liked to get to know one of the supporting characters a bit better. The character makes an amazingly selfless decision and I think it would have been even more powerful had I had the opportunity to get to know the character better. I'm definitely going to read more books by Ms. Simko.

I just received a copy from the author and can't wait to read it!

Ok, I've been totally engaged since the first page.

I just finished this book and thoroughly enjoyed it. For those of you who are time paradox sticklers, just forget about it and enjoy the story.

When not writing Ann Simko works as a nurse in a level one trauma center. For fun she studies karate and tries to keep both her children, husband and odd assortment of critters in line. It never works, but that doesn't keep her from trying.
Nothing entertains her more than trying to answer the question "What if?" and then twisting the answer until it becomes warped- cool, huh?
Ann has seven novels pu
