The Reunited is a story of lost lovers and reincarnation mixed with a lot of pain, anger, torture and despicable antagonist. It's not a spoiler since it's in the summary and it's clear right from the beginning that their flashbacks are to something that happened in another time.

There are some triggers. The villain of the story is completely evil. The sides are clearly distinguished. I'll just say he sells young girls and let you fill in the rest. The man is beyond despicable. So if you expect a

My first impression was… What’s happening here? Who is who and who does what ???

And it took me a long while to understand.

There were to many flash-backs to many Flash. Flash. Flash.
I understand that we’re talking here about psychic powers, but it was soooo confusing.

There’re many different layers in this book: past lives, his undercover, her undercover, other people having psychic powers, helping, not helping, saying, not saying, various POVs, insta-lust/love, emotions…. I often got lost.

This is the third book in the "FBI Psychics" series and it is a book that I have to say concentrated more on the case rather than the romance end of things. Joss Crawford is an FBI Agent who has some heavy duty psychic abilities. He is what is called a "mirror" and is able to touch another person with ablities, obtain their abilities, and have them as his own until he moves onto the next. He basically "syncs" with the individual and can use their talents for as long as he wants. He is called int ...more

I received this book for free through Goodreads first reads and I would give 4 1/2 stars if I could. I really liked this book.

I got caught up in it because of the possibilities it presented for the characters. The characters are vivid and you either love them, hate them, or don't care (but still are interested). I could visualize them, which made them more real, which in turn made the story that much more enjoyable. It started a bit slow for me but once I passed page 20 it got moving and putti

It was off, it just didn't hit the mark for me, it was like it was written by a different author or was part of a different series but, in no way could i place it in the same series as FBI Pyschics, i understand that when i'm reading about reincarnation there would be alot of back and forth in the story and i'm good with it, i actually like that but, add to the mix alot of flash flash flash flash flashflash well, u get the point, and a whole lot of POV's from every character in the book even one ...more

Smoke and Mirrors.

Joss is a mirror, all Taylor has to do is sync with him for the gifts required from other operatives. He is now neck deep in a human trafficking ring and battling to hold onto his sanity. Then there is Dru who has been working her own angle on the missing women. Both of them have a shared past and he is desperate for history to not repeat itself.

Joss Crawford is an FBI agent working for a special task force that is a little different than most, as many of the agents have special psychic powers. He is known as a mirror, one that can take the abilities of others he is mind-melted with which makes him a very valuable agent.

For most of his life, he has been searching for a woman, one he has had weekly dreams about since he found her grave in college. In his dreams he remembers being with her and dying at the hands of another but is not sur

My English review

I heard a lot of nice things about Shiloh Walker and it is true that I was curious to discover one of her books. Here is the third volume of the FBI Psychics series, a series I did not know anything about but which was quite nice. I didn’t have any problems to understand the story or the characters. But it is true that we immediately understand that the previous volumes have featured Dez and Taige. We meet them a lot in this new volume, and I confess I was cu

Shiloh Walker is completely amazing me with this FBI Psychics series of hers. Each book is better than the last, but I have a feeling it’s going to take quite a bit more imagination for her to trump Joss Crawford and his amazing ability in this latest book.

Joss refers to himself as a mirror. He can take on other psychics’ powers as his own, retaining that uniqueness until the next time he’s mind-fucked. And believe him, it is a mind-fuck he goes through for each new job Taylor Jones, head of the

If The Reunited is your first introduction to Shiloh Walker's FBI Psychics series, then welcome to the club! I do suggest you go back and read the first two books because there is a little bit of tie in to the other stories, but for the most part they can be read as stand alone novels.

True to form, we've got a romantic suspense with some paranormal elements thrown in.

This book focuses on Agent Joss Crawford whose psychic ability is the fact that he can mirror someone else's technique. His boss s

4 3/4 stars!

“Reunited” by Shiloh Walker is the mesmerizing romantic suspense title that continues her FBI psychics series that was started with “The Missing” and continued with “The Departed”. Drucilla Chapman has been living a dangerous role for far too long as she strives to bring retribution upon Patrick Whitmore. Special Agent Josh Crawford is strangely drawn to a particular gravesite but his psychic gifts don’t quite explain why he has such a strong connection to a young woman who died more

I first discovered this series while reading the anthology HOT IN HANDCUFFS last year and was immediately drawn to it because of the psychic/paranormal element that adds just a touch of different.

Shiloh Walker can definitely write a good suspenseful book, and this was that! With the help of some psychic abilities, this particular division of the FBI is solving impossible cases. In this case, we are dealing with human trafficking and a bad guy wh

It's a really good thing that when I really started reading this book I didn't have any other plans for the day. I don't think I would have been able to set it down for very long to get anything else done. I was so excited to be given a chance to read and review a book by Shiloh Walker, and I was not disappointed at all by her work.

FBI Agent Joss Crawford goes under cover into a very dangerous situation. He has a very special talent that is needed for this case. It is a total shock to him when h

With such a heavy topic as human trafficking, I was worried that The Reunited would be a gruesome read. However, Ms. Walker handled a very horrible topic with decorum. She didn't try to shock the reader with graphic details and images, but brought to light the horrors of the situation. She gave the seriousness of the topic respect and did not sensationalize the problems.

Aw yeah! Another awesome one from this series. This is slowly climbing the charts to be amongst my favourite series. This one was in some ways even better than the last one because of the whole past life thing. Normally, I'm not really into that, but I liked the way it weaved into the overall story here.

Obviously Dru and Joss are meant to be together, but have quite a few (BIG) misunderstandings to get through. At certain parts they're enemies, who are still into each other - and it totally work

If you have not read this series you should start right away. While this is the third book they all stand alone just fine.

Here we have another romantic suspense with paranormal elements. Both Joss and Dru have their own abilities to work with. But can they overcome attraction, mistrust and other obsticles to end up working together to achieve the same goal?

Its a fast paced ride as we watch them battle their attraction while both working undercover to take down a human trafficking ring. The char

I know that I read the first two books but the characters in this book were unfamiliar. Also I couldn't remember totally the plot of the other books and how it really relates to this story. I liked Joss and Dru. They were fiercely fighting to right wrongs in their own way using their skills but here's the kicker, Joss' talent is so messed up and it messes him up thoroughly. How the hell does he deal with it, I'll never understand. I think the chemistry between Joss and Dru was strong as hell and ...more

This book was a little different than the usual Shiloh Walker style. It wasn't nearly as spicy, although there was a romance involved. The idea behind the plot line was interesting, but the constant point of view change was distracting and it made the action hard to follow. There were at least 10 points of view (maybe more)and the POV changed every couple paragraphs. If you put the book down for very long it was hard to remember what was going on when you picked it back up. There were also dream ...more

Not quite as good as the first two. I got confused at times. I think with so many psychic readings on others and the time memories, I got lost a bit. There were so many people in the story and to switch their names from last to first and add in their undercover names/nicknames and the reincarnation names... it made it harder to follow. (I do not have photographic memory like our hero did.) Still, I enjoyed the story. Feels like Shiloh Walker wants to do more with the reincarnation aspect, the wa ...more

This book gave me chills- the villain? One for the record books-I can not imagine what it would be like to have this monster trapped in your head-shudder! I must admit this thriller ramped my paranoia to an all time high and the moments of stalking and the victim chase were truly terrifying. I have always tried to watch what I reveal about myself to strangers and now I will be even more cautious! That is all I can say without ruining the book for you; I read it in an hour an re-read because it w ...more
I found this one confusing, we were in the present, then the past, then there was all the flashing and getting to know what others had done. Often it wasn't marked clearly which is why I was confused.

I liked how the team worked together and loved that Jillian came to Jones. She knew she needed help with her gifts, but also knew that her parents wouldn't be very happy, especially her dad. I hated how her actions drove a wedge between her parents. I tended to agree with Tiage and was sort of glad

I really loved this book. I have read the others in this series and could not wait for this one to come out. For me, it started out a little slow. But it did not take long to pick up. And of course by that time I could not put it down.
I have always enjoyed a good suspense/romance. This one fit the bill all the way around. Although there are times I like the mystery edge to it. This book did not have that since you knew who the bad guy was from the beginning. But in this case it was good to know

A mystery/thriller/suspense/romance.
Joss, an FBI agent with paranormal abilities, is assigned to find and destroy a kidnapping slave-selling ring. In the process, he meets the woman hes been dreaming about, the one he knows from a former life. What is her part of this drama? And how can he save her?
Dru is undercover, trying to procure evidence of her so called fianceés involvement in the kidnappings. Little did she know shed meet a man she seems to know..

This was a strange book for me. I am not sure if it was because I have not read book one or two in this series. Or maybe it was my mood. I am not 100% sure. But The Reunited didn’t draw me in like a normal Shiloh Walker book. I guess I just never really connected with the characters.
Still this was an okay read and I will be putting it on my list of need to read the series from book one.

In the realm of Romantic Suspense this is one of my favorite series by an author whose work always manages to shock me while it also makes me aware that my world is very privileged and safe.

Some familiar characters and quite a few new ones emerge during this particular operation.

For me this was a very easy to read story even when some of the more brutal descriptions during certain scenes made me flinch.

I really liked the first book in the series so I excitedly picked up this book to read. Sadly, with all the flash backs and characters that were introduced at different points in the story, it became confusing and I lost interest in the main characters. Towards the end I felt like I was reading an X-Men comic and I started visualizing the characters in tights and Taylor Jones as Prof. X. Not good.

Overall an exiting fast paced paranormal suspense, which kept me reading till the end. Like many of Walker's books, I found some of the characters a little too self righteous: Taige, for example: to make me want to cheer for them. In fact there were so many characters and they all had different but complentary psychic abilities, I found it hard to figure out who was doing what. I think this is a good series, but maybe not my cup of tea overall.

I cannot even begin to breakdown all the different things I loved in this book. The writing, the characters called to me... sometimes odd, due to the desparate and heartrending subject. I am glad I am not as strong as them. Doubt I would have lasted under the burden, these women, and men worked under. I am still on a 'high' from reading this one. So I doubt I am doing Miss Walker justice. But damn, this was awesome.

I love this series. It is my favorite by Ms. Walker.

I will say I was a little confused at the beginning. I wasn't sure exactly what was going on. Once I got into just a little bit, it got much better. It is pretty intense with the human trafficking issue going on. There are also some new characters along with some old ones coming back.
