Bear in the Big Blue House is enjoying the start of spring and all it has to offer. He is exploring the world at his favorite time of the year coming out of hibernation. The sun is out and the flowers are blooming. Discovering new life and experiences. This book creates great detail through pictures and colors of spring. Describing in detail the spring time for bear. I would rate this book a 4 because it has great detail and is great for reading at the ages 2-5 for children to learn about our seasons.

This is a charming book with a story from the popular children's tv series about a bear family. As the animals go into the garden to start planting flowers in the spring, the otters do not want winter to go away. They are so disappointed that there will be no where to ice skate anymore until next winter, which is just ages away! The story goes through all of the great things that come about in springtime and how the otters can have just as much fun doing new things. I would recommend this book for students in 1st-2nd grade because of the developed paragraphs, dialogue, and vocabulary.

Spin off book of the TV program from Jim Henson studios. Doing the voices is amusing, and the story in this particular book involves how spring comes on. Good if you're somewhere with four seasons, hard to relate to for a kid from the tropics. The characters are well liked by Sean though.
