The book describes the battle between two types of models on the origin of life: 1) Evolution models - which encompasses theories that attribute the origin of life/universe to chance 2) Creation models - which encompasses theories that attribute the origin of life/universe to intelligent and deliberate design. The author offers very compelling arguments in favour of creation (as the book title suggests). Because of this bias, the tone of the book can sometimes be harsh but if you're a light-hearted reader you will actually find yourself laughing at his expressions/ selection of words and phrases.
I found the book very enlightening, pointing out the gaps and holes in evolution theories from various angles. I highly recommend this book to everyone.
I was first introduced to this during an Intelligent Design course I took a few years back. It was a little above my reading levels, but i did manage to make it through the book with some very useful insight and knowledge. And enough to allow me to pass the course. I definitely recommend this to people with any questions regarded creationism, but just keep in mind that it can be a little hard to understand sometimes, especially if its not you're normal reading genre.
