The last book in the Professor Sally Good Mystery Series titled A Bond with Death opens with a familiar theme to readers of this series. Instead of a painting that may or may not have a satanic image (Murder Is An Art) Dr. Sally Good stands accused of being a witch. According to an e-mail that has been shared far and wide, Dr. Sally Good is following her ancestor, Sarah Good, down the road to witchcraft. Therefore she needs to be dealt with appropriately and that would include losing her job.

#3 in the Sally Good series. Apparently the series finale. A new character in this series entry is C.P. "Seepy" Benton, a recurring character in author Crider's Sheriff Dan Rhodes series.

The constant detail about eating/preparing food was extra detail that didn't need to be included, and some of the dialogue was stuffy. This is the first of the Sarah Good mysteries I have read. She is the head of the English department at a community college in Texas, and in this book she was attached by the Mothers Aganist Witchcraft. Cute story.

Sally is accused of being a witch. An ex-professor who didn't like her is killed. The whole plot could have been told in 3000 words, rather than an entire book (short book - 208 pgs).
