This book was published in 1981 so the illustrations are dated. The stories are fantastic. It's the perfect introduction of a bio on Lincoln for adults and kids. Really well written. I've read some about Lincoln, but most of this book was new to me. Really enjoyed it. Zoe got distracted at the end about his political career. I finished it. So interesting. He is such an inspiration about being good to the core and working hard and being funny and fun and likable. What a remarkable human being.
