Dr. Mark Sloan is in the thick of it again. No one seems to like this guy in prison, he keeps putting folks away! The inmates get together to cook up a conspiracy. to take the Dr and all of his friends down, once and for all. Crooked police are involved, and crooked politicians and a less than helpful police force. Can Dr. Mark free his friends and clear his name? This book will tell you how.

I always enjoy Lee Goldberg's books, and this is no exception. I loved watching Diagnosis:Murder with my Dad when it was on TV. This book reminded me what a good show it was. I thought the storyline was good, and it had some great twists and turns. Very enjoyable, easy read.

Ooo, Mark Sloan is in TROUBLE this time. If you haven’t read the first books in this series, definitely wait on this one, like the introduction says. If you enjoyed the show, you’ll like The Last Word. If you haven’t seen the show, WHY NOT? Get on it! If you have seen the show and enjoyed it and haven’t read the books, WHY HAVEN’T YOU? They’re all great mysteries.

The final Diagnosis: Murder novel finds Dr. Mark Sloan's world crumbling around him when a conspiracy targets his friends. Slow going at the start, but lays crucial groundwork for the fast paced rest of the novel. I loved it and sorry to see the characters fade into the sunset again.

This is the last book in the series and is one of the most well written out of the series. As usual Lee Goldberg does a fantastic job of relaying the characters and making you feel that you are watching the tv show all over again. This book has many twists and turns and is a very engrossing and interesting read. As probably the final piece of Diagnosis Murder media it is worth the read for that alone. Well Worth a 4 star rating.

I appreciate the attempt to give the series a grand finale, but this did not work. It's always a fine line with novels based on TV shows, but this had the stink of fan fiction all over it. The plot was outlandish and the resolution was rushed, awkward & confusing.
