Gets the essentials across

I have watched many videos on traditional archery. Consequently I found this book very basic. Having said that I do think the author gets the point across concerning the basics of his subject matter. If one is expecting a very detailed discussion on traditional archery then this book would not be a good selection. Nicholas' videos are very informative also.

Informative

Loved it, plan to start my bow soon. I am looking for wood now, plenty of oak around here. Good luck all.

Excellent Book

This book gives a good starting point for making your own bows. I have now made 3 nice bows, and have decided to learn more on bow making. Thanks Nick.
