This was a great book to get an overview of the different ways to go about adoption. It does a good job of explaining them and helping readers understand the pros and cons of each form, so that they may decide which is best suited for them. It really helped us narrow our path.

Once we had decided, I felt that a lot of the information didn't apply to us and it was time to move on to more specific books. Because of this book and conversations with other adoptive parents, we have been able to have a lot of confidence that choosing Fost-Adoption has been the best path for us, without looking back. This book gave us a great basis to grasp language to use about different kinds of adoptions.

Filled with a wealth of information on pretty much everything about the logistics of adoption - from selecting an agency to international adoptions. The state-by-state requirements were especially informative.

Really just a book of facts that you can find online, or will be given once you choose an agency.
