I have a very deep interest in the needle arts, and this is the type of book I really enjoy. It concerns itself with lace making across many disciplines including needle made, bobbin, tatting, knitting and crochet. I think the instructions are a good introduction to these types of needlework and it includes a more basic type of tatting and then a faster method. While I've learned how to needle tat, I've never been able to tat with a shuttle. This book makes me want to try again. Lots of photos, diagrams and projects starting with easier and then more complex.
