Since I read this guide cover to cover I thought I could add this book, the 2011 edition to my 'books read' list. After reading a Halldor Laxness book 'The Fish Can Sing' my curiosity was piqued and I wanted to learn more about this Nobel prize winner's country. I've always liked reading the 'Insight Guides' books and this one which is up to date including the monetary crash of 2008 and the effects of that was completely captivating. This is a wonderful travel guide for anyone interested in the history, culture, geography and beauty of this small island country or anyone wishing to travel there whether virtually like me or physically!
