Interesting read. It is full of concepts that I had never even thought of. I enjoyed the explanation of the journey food takes through our system.

However, the editing department really messed up on this book. There are many word errors throughout the book. It looks like they used spell check, but didn't read through for grammar errors. It can get a bit annoying. One pretty important statement read, "pH indicates acidity of alkalinity and how healthy you are." It should have read, "pH indicates acidity or alkalinity and..." That is sort of an important difference.

The ideas are presented in a clear and engaging way. It is not a boring read. It is a good platform for launching a deeper study of the body. You can also test the theories using your own diet and your bodies responses to his recommendations.

Excellent, thought provoking ideas, but seems a little extreme with limiting your protein intake THAT much. Not sure how many of us will really follow through. I made this a featured book for a nutritionally based book study, and that went well. It's not written too technical so lay folks could still get valuable, user friendly info from it.

Excellent Health Book. My nutritionist recommended I read this book. I now know what kind of diet will work for me and help my body overcome certain health issues like bone loss and digestion.
