In the context of the move towards the professionalisation of Youth Work in the UK, this gives a useful insight into the challenges specific to those coming from (and working in) a Christian youth work context. She outlines her material according to Fred Davis' six stages of professional development, and offers a seventh point for consideration - the support structures that are in place for youth workers.
