This is the second volume of the text for the U.S. History class that I've been teaching. Like the first volume, it is fairly well written and gives a good overview of the U.S. History. I struggle a bit with the way the authors cover some areas (Stalin's Soviet Union, for example), but overall it is one of the better survey texts on U.S. History that I have read or used.
