Let me just say that I have very mixed feelings for this book. I believe a lot of Janite fans may love this book but I was in between. Having said this I will explain. The begining of the book was quite enlightening and I did agree with the author on Lydia's character. She was wild and self indulgent even as a 13 yr old. This being the age she was allowed to be "out" in society! I found her antics to be very diverting and just as she would of been. As the book progressed I was still very amused ...more
