The company that published this book went out of business, and the rights reverted back to me. I revised it significantly. Some of the changes I made:
* fine-tuned the entire book
* added new scenes
* added many more sex scenes
* lengthened the entire story
* changed the name to Dirty Little Secret
* published the book with The Wild Rose Press

But before it could twirl off in opposite directions, we grabbed both ends and tied them together to give us a sturdy holding place to grasp.' - Angela's inner dialog taken from In the Bad Boy's Bed

Erotic YA - Oooooh errrrrr O_O

Feels like this is an adult book disguised as a YA and I am not comfortable with this. Will post my full thoughts after I finished.
Will post my full review soon:
But this def confirms my original feelings and I am not liking there wasn't a true warning that is for older readers. I definitely do not consider this YA, the sex was explicit and it made me uncomfortable that a younger reader would pick this up. I had to rant about the lack of warnings and the ones poste

I loved it! But then...I wrote it. And I love all my books. What a fun book to write. I got to know Nick and Angel very well over the course of the writing.

Nick hit a rough patch as a young teen, but he's a decent, smart guy. Unfortunately, most people only want to focus on the problems he had. As a result, he's learned to keep himself apart from society or risk getting hurt...or causing more trouble for himself. All Nick wants to do is graduate high school, get away from all the game-playing, g

This book was a little different from all high school stories. I thought it might be cliché like Perfect Chemistry but it wasn’t. I appreciate a book for being different and its ability to grasp attention. I liked that this book went straight to the story from the very first page-makes a good change.

Angela is the rich girl that everyone expects classy standards from. Her parents are controlling, they set her up with Sean (the family friend’s son). Sean is a typical rich asshole, he drinks every

Worry more about what you think of you and less about what others think of you.

^ That's something that Angela needed to put into practice.

I don't know what to say about this book. I dont hate it but I don't really like it either. Sigh.

Ok, it's like... I can handle a guy being a jerk, a heartless bastard right? I mean, men are programmed to be assholes... most times :D Don't get me wrong - if a girl is like that... with a good, tolerating attitude, then I don't mind either.

I loved the concept and idea of this book but I didn’t like the way it was carried out. I thought the character of Nick was brilliant I mean I always love the bad boy come on. But I felt the book wasn’t deep enough and overruled by sex.

I don't know where to start this review, to be honest. It was very cliche. We have a "damsel in distress" who runs from abusive boyfriend and meets up with the "bad boy from the bad side of town" who is also the object of her desire in the shamelove variety. They begin this steamy romance, but they can't be out in the open because she is of the prim and proper society that would disown her if she ran away with the poor kid with a troubled past.

Like some of the other reviews I read, I was surpri

My expectations were low, after all this is an inexpensive ebook with a corny 1970's romance cover (despite the fact that the main character is a contemporary teen.) I expected cheese and less than stellar writing. Unfortunately this story has zero characterization, zero character development, and a weak plot. This reads like a long, telling of one person's story of a relationship. Assume you know the person so there is no need for that person to provide descriptions, set a scene, include charac ...more
I really liked this book. It wasn't just one of my '5 star rated books', because it also teaches you a lesson or two about friendship and trusting people who don't seem that 'innocent'. Honestly, I hated the way Angie was acting about 'Hiding thier relationship' What girl wants to act like she isn't seeing someone 'behind close doors'? She just ignores him at school! But even so, I loved the ending:) It was really sweet, if not a little sad...
I'm not saying the guys name, well.... because I hone

In the Bad Boys Bed is a sweet, simple and short New Adult romance. Girl dates boy, boy is a drunk jerk, girl is attracted to bad boy (he's a high school bad boy, and not really all that bad), and on from there. I've seen some reviews refer to this as erotica or erotic romance, which this is NOT. It might be more racy than your typical young adult high school stories, but it is in no way nearly as racy as many of the new adult books I've read lately. There is romance with some ste

Loved it! Just Beware that this is not a YA book. It goes into too much detail to be a young adult and I would hope that Sophia would address this cause when I purchased it, I read Young Adult right near the title and boy was I in for a shocker when it wasn't so young adult. Now this is ok for me to read since I am 30, but if I was a teenager getting my hands on this supposed "YA" book, then I would be in for a big surprise when when they start the heavy makeout sessions and then full on interco ...more

Errrm.. it felt awkward reading this book. The one clear thing to me is that Angela is one walking contradiction. She doesn't want anything to do with Nick because he's all i'm-a-bad-boy-and-i'm-also-a-poor-and-torured-soul.. but she just can't keep her hands to her self. I hated her character from the start. I was hoping that i'll like her in the middle but she only got worse. And the ending? i guess all is well because they eventually got together again (predictable, actually).. but i still di ...more

well hopefully for the two it would last, with Angela's attitude to question what everybody else think it sucks for Nick. I have an awesome time reading the story and it sucks for people to not know the entire story behind a person so we can't judge them by the happenings of their past.

DNF- Bad writing, I am of similar age to the characters and found them to be rather childish. The main character was extremely unlikable and bitchy. The other characters had no development, predictable plot, cliche characters. Not for me.

Okay first off, i understand that this book is so not aimed at younger readers. It should be more along the lines of new adult books.
