In this beautifully designed book, Paolo Roversi presents for the first time his nudes of the luminous faces of our times. Famous fashion models as well as unknown people are revealed as never before, in subtle, tender and near-mystical images full of erotic energy.
Fashion photographer. Born in Ravenna in 1947, Paolo Roversi’s interest in photography started in his youth, during a family vacation in Spain in 1964.
In 1970 Paolo Roversi started collaborating with the Associated Press and also opened his first portrait studio. Paolo moved to Paris in 1973 after a chance meeting with Elle magazine's director.
I also found this book in the hall closet. I wonder if I was planning on selling these books? Or just keeping them away from tiny hands. i used to like slipcases. i don't know if i do anymore. herb ritt's men/women has a nice slipcase. . . but this one is cheapish. and the book is cool and elegant. the book description has this line: "revealed as never before" those goofy publishers. as never before? come on. why not just write HEY IT'S Pablo Roversi! You get what you paid for! Or not. It's going for over 400 bucks on Amazon. Glad i left it in the closet. Don't touch it kids!
This collection has a single, dull background and duller poses. The idea of having over-exposed images that the models blend into the background does not merit having full book dedicated to it.
Features a collection of bare females in front of a white background making the models appear almost as line drawings. All natural. Pretty, beautiful, insightful.
