Při designování webů se dostávám často do kontaktu s otázkou jaký font či kombinaci fontů použít. Tato kniha mi otevřela oči ve směru, kdy vím jak lze s fonty experimentovat a jak je chápat, ale v praktickém pojetí jsem se nedozvěděl skoro nic. Nejzajímavější byla asi časová osa, kde byly vyobrazeny jednotlivé druhy písem (o kterých jsem absolutně nevěděl, že jsou tak staré). Btw. kniha je krásný výstavní kousek kvůli svým ilustracím a layoutu.

Very good introduction to typography and its connection to design and world. Book contains huge amount of examples and case studies to help you understand the theory. The book is divided into four section: form, composition, principles and experimentation. In general, the theory is easy to understand and the book is good for anyone interested in typography and design.
