This is a good entertaining read. I thought this could have been better as a duology. The latter part of the story seemed a bit rushed and left me wanting more. Based on this book, I would definitely read more of this author's work.

A good story, a bit rushed in the second part. Still some errors in there. A captain becomes an admiral then again a captain a few times aswel as using incorrect ship names at times, witch made following the battle a bit tricky. But overal a good read.

I was first introduced to science fiction/fantasy via a Robert E. Howard book entitled "Conan the Barbarian". I worked part-time after school in the local library, and was soon hooked. Next came Robert Heinlein (Star Ship Troopers, the Farmer in the Sky), A. E. van Vogt (The World of Null A, the Players of Null A), and a host of others. My current favorites are David Weber's Honor Harrington serie ...more
