Absolutely Positively Fantastic Read! HOT! HOT! HOT EROTICA!

I loved this book for many reasons. One, I have never read a lycan (were-wolf)book mixed with the myth of mermaids and the magic of a sea witch. It was totally awesome and so exciting.

A Sea Witch "Urbana"could call men to the sea and then kill them for her own pleasure but when Ceana rescue's her brother the witch curses her and takes her to the sea turning her into a mermaid to live beneath the waves except for

The Mermaid and the Lycan—okay!
In his youth, Ian is rescued from the sea by a beautiful young woman—she was gone by morning and searching was useless, . He never forgot and no other woman ever measured up. As the Prince he needed to find the one to prepare to take his rightful place.
Ceana's cursed to be a mermaid except for one night under the full moon. She rescues Ian a second time centuries later. Is he the one to break the curse? Does he remember her and still have feelings? D
3 stars because this book treated me better than I expected - surprisingly intelligent and well written, despite the crazy set up - a werewolf prince is rescued from drowning under a full moon by a cursed mermaid. The ending, however, was just too rushed and not satisfying at all.

This was a nice quick read that delivered a good paranormal romance between a mermaid and a Lycan. The story was well-paced, well thought out, sexy, and fun. Ms. Pillow was able to deliver a good plot in short amount of page time. Can't wait to read the rest in the series.

Delicious & Perfect length for a quick lunch hour get away =) I will definitely be looking for more books by this author.

These are not deep and meaningful books but they are fun. They are basically sex shenanigans with overgrown boys.
Be prepared for a very quick and slightly unbelievable story over a short amount of time.
Apart from the fact everything happens in one night and most of the story is sex, I will admit to enjoyed this short story and the fact I have read this series a few times.
Cannot say I like Ian that much due to his attitude and his relationship with the horrible Meghan. He has no feel

just for saving her brother. She has spent centuries stuck in the ocean with the night of the full moon her only reprieve (she becomes Human) like the werewolves only in reverse lol. But after awhile it only reminds her of all she has lost.
I like this new twist on mermaids. I loved the story, well written. Fun to read.
great interaction with the characters (Love the brothers) can't wait to read more in the series!

This is the first story in this series and it was really 👍👍👍! Now I have thoroughly enjoyed this story and I can't wait to read the next one. 📕📕📕🎆📚💞💝 I hope that the next story is as good as this one was.

Sexy and Magical

I love this story! It is thrilling, pulling you in and spelling your fingers to keep turning the pages. If you don't like books with descriptive scenes of sex, stay away. Great fantasy.

Good read

Interesting little read and liked the two pronged approach with the mermaid and the wolf. Sexy and quick, but hey it’s a short read. Good.

I received a copy for an honest review. This is a romantic paranormal short story Ian O'Connell the next king of his wolf pack he is lucky that he survived a watery grave thanks to a woman that he has not been able to find since that night and he knows that she must have been human because it has been over a century but he feels in his heart that she is still out there he seems to keep hearing her in his head certain times when there is a full moon he has been fooling around with one of his pack ...more

Call of the Sea is the first part of a trilogy about three brothers, the Lycan Princes of the O'Connell clan.

Ceana was cursed centuries ago by the Sea Witch and was made into a mermaid and once every full moon Ceana can walk on land to try and find the one who can break the curse. Ian O'Connell almost drowned once and a female saved him, having spent years trying to find her without success he assumed her dead. When history repeats itself and Ian is saved by a woman again, he can't not believe

Hmm. This was a quickie (Oh no! Not what you have in mind), I meant a quick read. Very-very fast paced. You can actually finish it within an hour or two. I'm actually giving it 3.7 stars since I lurve lurve lurve Lycans. (super!)

I did enjoy reading this one, esp the convo of the three brothers (IAN, JAMES, and ROARK. Steamy-Hot-Scenes as to be expected in a PNR-Shifter-Erotica genre. ~

Fave convo:

James: For the love of dick!
Roark: Is there something you'd like to te

Interesting and exciting

Call of sea was very interesting, different and exciting. Cerena was cursed to the sea with only the full moon respite until the day would come that the one man would break her curse.
Ian can't forget the woman that saved his life all those years ago but he knows she is long gone by now.
He didn't know how wrong he was until he was called to the sea and got swept up in the sea and almost drowned again only to have be rescued again by the woman of his dreams.

I loved this book it was the perfect read for a rainy afternoon.A man Ian O'Connell Prince of he's Lycan clan is next in line to be King and no plans of mating .He often dreams of a woman and the only one he wants is the one he met many years ago when she saved him from drowning, only problem is he's not sure if she is real.
Ceana was young and beautiful but many years ago she was cursed by a sea witch who turned her into a mermaid and the only way to break the curse is to completing the imp

I love shifter stories and stories containing magic and legend. Call of the Sea was a perfect pairing of both. The story was short, sweet, and sexy. I always enjoyed love conquers all tales and Ian and Ceana definitely faced those, along with a jealous harpy of a woman scorned and an evil witch hell bent on having her way. Call of the Sea would have been 5 solid ☆'s for me if it was longer but I greatly enjoyed the spicy little bite that it was.

Another amazing story by Michelle Pillow. Not only does it have lycan's (were-wolves) but it also has mermaids and curse's. I love this story. We start out with the curse put on Ceana because she saved her brother from Urbana (the Sea-Witch's grasp). Then we fast forward to the future and meet Ian who is the heir to the throne. I love seeing the back and forth between Ian and his brothers. Also how he reacts when he thinks Ceana is bat-crazy...talking about mermaids...they have never seen one so ...more

If you love mini porn stories then this series is for you unfortunately its not for me. I'm usually a big fan of hers and some of her other books have more substance than this. I'm just not impressed with the hero and heroine knowing each other for 1 day or a few hours and saying hey your cute lets do it!! Yeah I wasn't a fan of this series but if you don't mind them not knowing anything about each other and doing like bunnies, fighting, doing it again I'm sure you can muck through like I did bu ...more

√I really warmed up to this book as I read on...In the opening pages, I fought the urge to roll my eyes at the parahuman sex-crazed main characters and the mythology surrounding them. However, as I read on I started to relate to the characters as their human side began to crystallize, with their love seemingly the catalyst to the emergence of their intelligence and heart- both as individuals and as a couple.

Awful cover! I had to make sure my daughter never saw it. I have no idea why the guy is blond either, in the book the hero is brunette.

The beginning was normal paranormal, then once the heroine came in I started liking it. Ian demanded that she come suck his pee-pee and she had the gall to tell him no, go find someone else. That whole section was good. Then the ending felt rushed and a little sappy.

I'll read other books by this author, but I'll put her lower on my TBR shelf.

I did understand going into this book it was an erotic story. I enjoyed that part of this book. The story line was interesting I just think it could have been followed out a little bit better, I felt like one thing was going to happen (mainly because the author was hinting about it) than something different was happening or being said. Sex was good ***

Loved the book. This author continues to delight me. I loved that it was a mix of Lyman and mermaid Story. Steamy and heartfelt.

I was given this book by the author for an honest review and I was not compensated in any way.
