this book is our recommended textbook for unit operations in separation processes. Good development of theory. This book will go very well with a practice book that has example problems for students to practice for exam preparation. Recommend to go with "Engineering Problems for Undergraduate Students - Over 250 worked examples.." by Ng, check topic on separation processes. This book focuses on practice problems with full worked solutions shown. Easy to follow as there are many diagrams and detailed explanations.

I didn't like it, though it's good as reference. But, it's useless to understand from first time, there's still some information that needs to be explained that's not in there..
For me, as biased view, I don't recommend it to read.
Three start because of the science it has which I cannot regard.
