4 - Writing Style (Most of the book was well written.)
4 - Kept me Awake at Night Reading (I was very interested in the relationship between Laura and Maurice.)
5 - Good Discussion Book (Yes.)
3 - Violence (Yes. Maurice had a horrific home life.)
4 - Morals (This book showed great moral character as Laura reached out to help Maurice. There were a lot of really rough things that went on though. I am not sure if I could recommend this to a teen.)

Good Read. Eye opening story about how we can change our schedule to help someone. The writing itself is just ok, but the story is compelling enough to get you through. I would have loved to have heard Maurice's point of view.
