I would recommend this nonfiction book to a middle school or high school History or English teacher. A History teacher could use this book to teach women’s suffrage movement and what lead to it (cause and effect). History teachers could also use this book to teach how women were treated during the 1800s and compare/contrast it to how women are treated today.
