At times this book is beautifully written. The switches between both the machine world Ash and the warrior Ash are exceptional. I feel the amazing writing and the emotion really shines through with the machine world Ash. That being said, the fantasy world kind of threw me off. I felt it was too erratic; and not just the battles. The battles, I felt, were greatly written. It was the moments in between, as well as the last two chapters, that left me somewhat confused.
