These guys were complete idiots. Also I am not sure why they would buy warming lube??? The guy has been complaining the whole book the other guys core body temperature is too hot but they buy warming lube? I think the point of lube is too reduce the burn sensation but whatever, these guys were idiots.

when they weren't being idiots they were beyond boring, the shopping and the cooking jokes were repetitively boring.

My biggest issue was the one MC is continuously driving while he is falling down

Cute story, I liked the second one better, but this one was nice, if you sort of don't think too hard! :)
But what is up with all the spanking? Third book in the series and it is in every one!

The concept of the 'forced matings', including all the consequences if people don't obey these totally arbitrary (as far as I can see) rules will remain ridiculous. I am only repeating it for the sake of those who may stumble upon this review without having looked at the other books.

The two characters being forced together in this volume were just as fascinating in their own way as the others. I mean a phoenix shifter? Never heard of one before. Add a sprite who knows what he wants, a jealous ri
Not my favorite of all of these books that I've read. This was the first Midnight Matings book by this author that I had read, though.

I couldn't connect with the story, the writing or the characters. Something just felt off to me. Asher was cute and so was Zaiden but their relationship seemed rather bland. Maybe it was just me.

Update 3/24/17 - after rereading this book I decided my original 2 star wasn't fair and I settled on a 3 star. I actually liked this book, the characters, and the story a

Perfect mates. Asher and Zaiden were so hot together, literally and figuratively. Another great book in the series. I also have to say I love Gabrielle Evans writing style. Even though there were some serious things going on in the book it also had some have fun parts in the book that had me laughing out loud.

Another great addition to the series. Quick and easy read set at the UPAC Conference. Nice twists & turns with a crazy ex and a jealous rival. More sex scenes and toys than others, and no mpreg even when possible.

Good third part. I liked this mated pair the best, both were so great together. Really enjoyable series!

Good one:) at least better than the previous one.

I was tempted to give this one a 4 star rating but decided on 3 because it didn't leave me with any warm fuzzies. While I liked the ending it felt a bit abrupt. The whole secret admirer mystery was quite good. There were a few times when I stopped to think I must be wrong in who I thought it was but couldn't figure out how it could be otherwise. I WAS wrong and right. I'd thought of the alternative option after one incident but it didn't make any sense so I discarded it. It all comes together in ...more

Elder Bruke has called a meeting for the 25th Anniversary of ending of the Great War between paranormals. The Elders want the paranormals to form alliances, since they won’t do it on their own; the Elders have spiked their drinks. Adding a little something to make everyone go into a mating heat, if you try to escape you get a cursed which prevents you from using your paranormal abilities again. They must mate and it must be someone outside their own race. If they don’t mate within 24 hours, they ...more

Such a fun series! There are currently 20 books in the series, each book is written by either Joyee Flynn, Gabrielle Evans or Stormy Glenn. They could keep writing more as long as they continue creating interesting characters who shift into all kinds of wonderful and different animals/mythical beings and coming up with unique stories full of romance, crazy drama, angst and let's not forget the very hot sex!

You don't have to read them in order, very rarely are other characters mentioned, but each

Review: Another enjoyable read from the Midnight Matings Series. Zaiden the Sprite and the Asher the Phoenix are a great match. Asher is cute and spunky which fits well with Zaiden’s more laid back personality. I really liked that the developing relationship between Zaiden and Asher was the biggest part of the story. The mystery with the villain was in the background until near the end. I was actually pleasantly surprised by the reveal of the villain. My only complaint is that there were some di ...more
For this book to be really captivating the couple had to actually separate for awhile. The Fire part of the couple actually said he started to look for an apt at one point when the relationship was disintegrating but it was never brought up again. The couple did deal with a psycho stalker but it didn't bring enough angst to the relationship to make this a great book.
The MCs were likeable but not overly loveable. With a few tweaks this book could be a 5 star. It just lacked a little oomph.

The elders of UPAC engineer a night where shifters and other paranormals must mate with a different species. A magic less sprite and a phoenix fight their way out of the meeting room but when they try to leave they find that they can't without being mated. Zaiden and Asher decide to mate. Their plans of living separately is short lived but they find they don't mind living with each other. While dealing with a stalker who stole Zaiden's magic, they declare their love for each other.

I wanted to like this book. In some places it was okay. Others not so much. I felt like the MCs kept changing or they had a stop-start feel to them. Though I did like that Asher was a Phoenix. I love all things Phoenix related.

I don't know if I was in a particular mood or something but I actually really enjoyed it.

The characters' stupidity aside.

This whole series is a ridiculously addictive comfort read. Wtf am I even doing.
Book 3 and it's burning up. Bad pun there :) Love Asher, the badass phoenix and Zaiden is a real sweetie. Can't wait to get the next books in the series.

their both idiots and love makes you stupid - it fit the brief and all. I could imagine where these huge jocks that had one too many head injuries.

It was still cute and made me go ahhhhhhh
Eh. For some reason I felt distanced from Ash and Zaiden. But, I liked them, just didn't feel a connection with them.
