I’m not sure there’s any such thing as the perfect erotic novel, but Sara Desmarais comes close with A Change in Our Marriage. I can’t say enough good things about the book - it aroused me, amused me, intrigued me, and delighted me with every virtual turn of the page. It’s clear that a great deal of thought went into this book, both in terms of plot and theme, which is a level of professionalism we see all too rarely in self-publishing.

Nearly all of my favorite fetishes are explored here: cuckolding, forced feminization, female domination, humiliation, mind control, pegging, cum-eating, and forced bisexuality. What makes it all work so well is how Sara so carefully develops the psychological coercion, alongside the physical domination.

Right from the start, Sara manipulates John into heading down the path she has chosen for their relationship. He thinks she’s stumbled onto his cuckolding fetish and is so wracked by guilt that he’ll do anything to appease her rage. When we discover that it’s actually Sara who secretly turned him onto the fetish, carefully setting him up so that she can pursue her own twisted fetish . . . well, let’s just say my mind wasn’t the only thing that was blown

Sara is in complete control, every step of the way, but succeeds in breaking John’s spirit by granting him the illusion of control. Time and time again she leads him down the path of temptation, putting ideas into his head, and then teasing him to the edge of arousal, before suddenly turning the tables and forcing him to make a decision. She gives him the chance to either take things further, or to back out entirely, but always does so in such a way that there’s really no choice but to go forward. Sara gets inside his head, using the threat of post-arousal humiliations to make him readily accept them while still aroused and open to enjoying them.

For me, the turning point in the novel came rather late, with a bit of enforced role-playing. Sara turns her bedroom into a brothel, her hubby into a whore, and herself into the well-hung stud she’s been cuckolding him with. As Steve, she not only physically reinforces their new roles (violating Julie orally and anally with her strap-on dildo), but she talks about their relationship from the bull’s point of view, reminding John of who he is and what he’s allowed his wife to do. It’s the first time she really treats Julie as a complete woman, and the first time she forces her hubby to be completely lost in the illusion of pleasing a man.

This is a read that’s as emotionally powerful as it is exhausting. Slowly and inevitably, John (a slightly submissive hubby with a bit of a transvestite fetish) is transformed into Julie (a caged cuckold with a hormonally induced borderline transsexual condition). The gender roles in the relationship are slowly reversed, with Sara continually reinforcing Julie’s femininity. For me, that respect was the key to the whole story - she never treats him as a sissy, never mocks his submissive femininity, and never treats him as if he’s gay. Instead, she nurtures the woman hidden inside him, making it entirely natural and acceptable for him to desire a man (not another man, but simply a man). There’s definitely some question as to how much of Julie’s transformation is born of her own hidden desire, and how much is the result of Sara’s careful manipulation, but eventually it all blends together.

Finally, what puts the book over the top is the fact that Sara and John/Julie never lose their love for one another. Rather than looking to escape the relationship or destroy her husband, Sara is looking to adjust their relationship so that it can accommodate her sexual needs. Not just an arousing, amusing, intriguing, and delightful read, but a respectful and empowering one as well.

The story is simple: John’s wife Sara discovers that her husband has been visiting cuckolding websites. This intrigues her and she goes about cuckolding John. John, of course, loves the idea at first, but Sara keeps pushing him further than he expected as she finds his limits and pushes him past those. This shocks him and scares him and causes him to struggle with whether or not he really can accept the life of a sissy cuckold. Throughout, however, Sara guides him with her dominance and her cleverness, until she gives him what they both need.

The writing in this book is excellent. There is strong interplay between the husband and wife and the reader is constantly aware of the subtle changes in their characters as the husband slips further away from husband status to something else. The book is long too, which is always nice. And unlike some books which are simply long, this one uses the space wisely to develop its characters. The story is highly erotic as well.

Two other things also work really well in this story. First, the story builds to a satisfying climax. Some authors aren’t patient enough to build significant tension, but Sara Desmarais is. Secondly, I like that the relationship between the husband and the wife is one of love. This wasn’t the type of book where the characters don’t care about each other except to hit plot points, and that makes it so much easier to care about these characters and, thus, to feel their emotions.

Behaviour modification in a delightfully kinky manner. This story is well written with a husband slowly falling into his wife's carefully laid trap. The poor guy didn't know what hit him. Each time he feels outrage, his wife flips it around on him. She twists his words until he's nothing but Julie.

The sex in here is medium hawt. It's good for the lighter foreplay with a bit of dub-con cuckolding. The milking, cbt, spanking and creampie are all nice.

This is a sweet story rather than a darker degrading cuckolding. It is humiliating and beginning to the end of "Julie's" marriage. It would be nice to have a follow up to see how much Julie has changed. Is Julie's oral skills better? How about some anal skills? How are his breasts now? What other dastardly things does Julie's wife do to him?

The story pace is good. The build up of how the transformation begins and furthers is nicely done. The wife is a naughty minx who could possibly step it up a notch. A lovely piece of erotica for sissification spank-bank.

Wonderful story of a husband's decent into cuckoldry, feminization and submissiveness. It was clearly inside him all along and took his wife to draw it out of him. A good, hot story.

I believe some of the reviews might be steered by their fantasies.
Now, my review here is for the kindle version on amazon. Perhaps there are others versions that are quite a bit better edited. That being said, let's review:

Spelling and Style:
This was the first thing that I noticed when I started reading this book. It is full of typo's, misplaced words, forgotten words, horrid use of punctuation. on every other page, there is at least one obvious glaring mistake that takes you right out of the story.

Writing:
this is more subjective, and various reviewers here are really happy with her writing style. But it doesn't convince me. she is in a hurry to tell the story. there is no build-up of any kind, no contextualization of anything. Everything just 'happens'. What do I mean? stories (be it books, movies, series...) they hint at what will happen. Wife wants to dominate? Then a good story puts hints as you read. It allows us, the readers, to contextualise what is happening, and so that it doesn't happen out of the blue. It is a crucial story-tool, because without, a story will seem like an unhinged follow up of events. And this is what happened here. sexy events, and they all follow each other up, but we're not giving any kind of context in which to place this story.

Story:
I will admit, the story was nice. Sara has quite a big imagination when it comes to femdom. it's just a pity that not of it is fleshed out. I followed the characters because I reaaally wanted to and because my fantasy was able to provide the necessary context. But, this is the author's job to make her characters come to life, and not names on papers that do stuff.

conclusion:
It's an oke read. It will rub your little slave-itch. But a good read? no. and that's a shame. I haven't found yet a good femdom book.

Amazing

This is st of John who was always on the computer watching cuckold and submissive porn sites. Then his wife Sara finds out and starts to transform him into the girl of her and his dreams. Watch as John becomes Julie in every sense of the word with exception of looking what little cock he had to begin with. This story has m to f transformation oral and anal play ,bondage everything you can ask for.

An excellent work of domestic crossdressing and feminisation leading on to the cuckolding her poor unsuspecting husband. Kept me reading from start to finish in one session. Excellent.

Her (hopefully) excellent writing skills and insights into the (standard model) male mind are so well composed as to transport one into the world she creates ! Fabulous erotic reading ! Very exciting, no dull or unnecessary passages. The love is the main thing, without it the romance would be gone and it would be like all the other sexual literature purely decadent, instead with the real love and mutual creation of new roles for their still monogamous relationship ( which she uses the archaic term cuckold, sadly). The detail of the sex is absolutely fabulous , Thank You !!
However ..... it is 1. simply male dominance by violence replaced by female dominance by violence this is not good and does not lead to real happiness. (in short term role play for excitement or in training for both sexes as in bodybuilding or skiing instruction, a dominant / submissive short term interaction is necessary but NEVER a permanent , all encompassing control, or happiness and harmony is never found.
2. Degradation and humiliation of the males genitals to create submission ( does she want big ? she can get him to fist her no (real) man can match that and vibrators are incredibly is any mans penis going to stay hard forever and vibrate ? again this is only a tool of putting a person down, which does not lead to happiness sexual or otherwise. 3. She never gets with sexual liberation and becomes bisexual with girls so she is a hypocrite for making him bisexual. 4. It is NOT necessary to have a conflict at all in a story. Tension and Release can be very exciting without a fight of wills ie: read solotouch.c at you'll be very excited without conflict. 5. Where is the love of the other lovers ? They are just sex objects, very inhuman, no disease testing ? no thought of family/children and real love with all concerned. So..... if She were to read: Sex at Dawn by Ryan and Jetha, Sacred Pleasure by R. Eisler, Our inner Ape by Franz de Wall, Sara could write sequels in which the bisexual, polyamourous, partnership can be created and the sexual and loving could be ABSOLUTELY AWESOME !!! p.S. the breasts on males is a reality which does exist now and will be a new evolution in males. See trans and science lit. on males breatfeeding children and getting breasts for beauty. I love Sara too.

I see lot of people loving this book. For me it failed completely. First of all, there is no build and literally zero characterization. Then there is just way too much infusion of unnecessary dialogues, and immense repetition of that throughout the book. Although there are some good scenes, but we need to go through just too much of the boring stuff. If properly written the book length would be about one-third of its length. Would be glad if someday the author decides to bring skimmed version. In its current form I would not recommend this to anyone.

Very interesting description of the thought processes of both the domme and the submissive. A little graphic for my taste, and I am not really into sissification, however, I could not put it down. Good book!

Great read

Loved the scenes in the Doctor’s office and a number of others as the transition took place. It almost felt like I was there. So many of my thought and wishes seemed to come out on the pages. Now if I could only find a Mistress like Sara.

Powerful female dominance

Exciting immersion in the protagonist’s willingness to be forced into feminization/fellatio.

Probably the best feminization novel I've read. It has all the elements I like: pegging, erotic humiliation, cuckolding, and medical play. I do think the ending is relatively abrupt and I would have liked more expansion on how their lives will play out now that his transformation is complete. A timeskip epilogue describing his thoughts and feelings as he lives the life of a feminized cuckold would have sufficed.

I do not like the reading so far.

I gave this a one so far for because I thought he is being pushed into something he not ready for. In the beginning I was like John at a point but I moved out . I found myself and did my transition into female. I'd need help or pushed into something I did not want. I was happy with my life. I had nothing but $2.00 a hour job in1972.But I was happy. My wife lived 40 miles away. John I felt that he is still in love with his wife. But, true be told he afraid to being alone. He needed her and she needed him. I am still reading this story. I have to keep read more and I will write more. Chrissy
