This was honestly one of the best books I have ever read. I loved this book because I could completely connect to Skye in numerous ways. One thing she did and was completely relatable was when Syke scored a goal on her own team and felt miserable for it. I have personally done that when either I am stressed or confused about what's going on in the game. Another moment that was relatable was when she scored a goal on the opposite team and was really hard on herself. This is relatable because I ge ...more

Now, I'm not really a fan of American Girl books, but this story touched me in a way I could not comprehend. It uses literature I would expect my friends to use, and even though I would have much prefered to read a more poetically-arranged novel, it had started to grow on me as something I could get used to reading. I can read this book with a sense of not just a reader, but a person in fact very similar to the one in this book- a teenaged girl with struggles in everyday life, but still have amb ...more

I liked this book a lot. The main character is named Skye and she loves hockey she just made the hockey team. Skye is 11 years old and has two older sisters. Her sisters are going to college soon and are legions in her town. Skye is amazing as well, Skye is in love with an Olympic hockey player and ends up contacting her, and she writes back! This book is not all about hockey she ends up having a crush with a boy named Ashton. Skye really likes this boy and in the end something very exciting hap ...more

This wasn't the best AG book. But it was a quick read and there were some endearing parts. It's fast-paced and very realistic. I like Skye's character. She goes through very normal situations and learns to deal with them appropriately. ...more

This book was a good book to read. It flowed nicely and took me a short time to read. I rated it a three because it was okay, but not the best.
Yours Truly, Skye O'Shea is about a young girl named Skye who loves hockey. She made the hockey team and was thrilled. Her solder sisters are amazing at hockey, but they are very mean to Skye. Skye struggles in math so her mom got her a tutor, who turned out to be super nice. After her extra work with the tutoring, Skye is really improving and becoming
