It's startling to realise that Malaysia has lost more soldiers to helicopter and air plane crashes than in combat. The book gives us a peek into Malaysian arms transactions, and how important it is to have political connections to win arms contracts. Informative but could have been better organised. Using more graphical charts would be useful instead of a barrage of sentences. It's saddening to read about our mindless spending in the name of defense. We are not just losing money, we lost good men who are willing to serve our country.
