Definitely a page turner. I liked the treatment of good and evil in this book. Here's a quote worth saving: "The man who abandons himself to the unrestrained gluttony of selfish desire must sacrifice the last of his moral being to the banquet. Scruple has no power to withstand the insanity of desire."
