If you want to know more about Nora Roberts, this is the book to read. But be prepared to give yourself some time to get through it.
Her travels and her books are listed with back stories on some of them. Like the time she posed for the cover. You'll want to take notes and check your stock to see if you have the books so you can reread them.
This book is a tribute to Nora and her fans. Included are letters from those thousands of fans and hilarious stories from her friends.
Although her books are from a variety of genres you can always count on a few staples. Her heroines will have strong friendships, the romance will be overwhelming and there will always be a happily ever after. In a real world often devoid of HEA's it's comforting to have a safe place to find one.
Thank you, Nora for giving me a safe place since I began reading your books in 1986 while my daughter FINALLY took her nap. 😁💕

Dated now but fills in a lot of the blanks (what books are in this series?, crossover appearances, etc) from her earlier works.

I was honoured to have my testimonial included in this book.

A helpful resource for Nora Roberts fans. There are a lot of extras, lots of random info. The family trees for the various family series are nice. The one thing that could have been done better was the book section where all of Nora's books are listed - especially the summaries. They are mostly just one sentence long, which really tells you hardly anything. A little more there would have greatly improved the book area. But overall, a fairly good resource for those who are fanatics about Nora's books, or those who are just starting to read her books and don't know what's what. I hope in a few years there's an updated version.

First of all, Nora Roberts is a compelling genius of a storyteller. This compilation of information about those stories and different processes surrounding being an author or connected to those who are is interesting and just as good a read as the fictional stories! I loved going through The Official Nora Roberts Companion and keep it on the table next to my chair. Its there to pick up and read a bit whenever I walk by which, since receiving my book, is suspiciously often . 5 stars and no doubt about it

Walking in the Portland library I couldn't decide what I'd like to read looking through genres I chose a Nora Roberts romance as if swept away by her words to another time distant past I felt as if I was the heroine even before reading the next sentence I just knew what she'd say.....

Two years ago now I've managed to nearly catch up on my NR book reading but will I ever as I've read about her life through other authors words I would say this book is an accomplishment to Nora, her family and most of all us her readers as yes I'll be at the Moe library soon to get 'her latest'...

I had come across this title in a used book store years ago, and I almost bought it. For some reason, I thought about it a few weeks ago and decided to see if I could get it through the library. It was interesting, and I added a few books to my TBR pile. However, it came out in the early 2000s so it only covers about half of the author's prolific career.

AMAZING! I am a HUGE Nora fan!!!! This is my working copy of what I have read, how I feel about it and what I have yet to read. I wish she would publish a continuation copy of the books written since this was published!

If you've read any of Ms. Nora's responses to her fans, or interacted with her in any way, you'd know she is quite direct. This book reflects that. (She is amazing) She is one of my top five favorites and one of three authors I have been reading since I was a teenager. Also, if you haven't read most of her books, don't read this. It talks about all her books in detail. All in all, this was very informative and I was surprised (in a good way) that I was able to find this little treasure.

I found some of the books were missing, and of course now it's outdated. Otherwise, quite good for resource.

I've really enjoyed the heck out of this book. It's full of all kinds of interesting tidbits about La Nora, and I've found the listing of her books, and all their different editions and compilations(!), to be invaluable in figuring out what I've acquired and read and what I haven't. I'd recommend it if you're a fan or just think you're in a Nora "phase".

2 1/2 I haven't really read a great deal of Nora Roberts but I wanted to read some more about her. This could be updated as well since she has written a lot more in the last 13 years. Picked some of her books to read at a later date.

This is a great reference book for any Nora Roberts fan. Published in 2003, it is not a complete guide, but still very useful and filled with trivia, and little known facts about her books.
