We all go through hardships and trials - very personal and very real to each one of us. And there is great encouragement to be found in the stories of those who have clung to faith and hope throughout those difficult times in their lives. Jeremy Camp's declaration of faith (found in the title of his book - I Still Believe) sets the theme for this down-to-earth, simple, and yet powerful read.

Camp writes in a conversational way, reaching out to the reader. He retains an air of humility throughout

I started listening to Jeremy Camp’s music probably around the mid-2000s and my top three favorites of his are This Man, Restored, and Walk by Faith. When I first heard his music, I liked it – especially those three favorite songs – but I wouldn’t have necessarily called him my favorite artist. I am definitely not claiming to be a music critic, but I often thought that Camp’s music lacked…something.

That changed when I saw him in concert with Casting Crowns in 2007. Now, my husband and I don’t of

Very simply written, quick to read book, but it packs a big punch emotionally and is very inspirational. Jeremy Camp is my favorite singer, and it was wonderful to read the backstory on some of his songs and read about what he went through in his life.

I loved this book!!! If you aren't a huge fan of Jeremy Camp, you will be after you read this book.

Jeremy starts at the beginning & shares the story of his parents coming to Christ, which if full of God's fingerprints. And then he shares his own spiritual journey, which has been a series of ups-and-downs, especially for his relatively young age.

His story is a powerful one. I think it is easy to identify with his story because it is so similar to many Christians own experiences - for example

A huge fan of Christian music, I am quite familiar with Jeremy Camp’s music. He has written and performed some of my favorite songs in recent years, but I hadn’t known his story until now. And all I can say is wow. He has been through so much, and his faith in God is absolutely amazing.

This account of Jeremy’s heartache is raw and heartbreaking. Honestly, it’s amazing to me that anyone can come out of such an ordeal with their faith not just in tact, but stronger than before. God has truly bless

I bought this book knowing a little bit about Jeremy’s testimony. Jeremy lost his first wife to cancer & he also had a miscarriage with his second wife. He was very poor growing up & now he’s a Christian artist who lifts up so many people through his music. Now after reading this book his music means so much more to me. This book walks you through Jeremy’s real life example of walking by Faith & leaves you yearning to want to know God & trust God more. It’s a simple down-to-earth ...more

After seeing Jeremy perform last weekend, I was excited to read his story. Like most fans, I knew of the death of his first wife. But to know her story, in all of its fullness, is still impacting the world for Christ years after she's passed. The book is a quick and easy read. I already have a line of friends that want to borrow the book. I will gladly oblige, but not before I have my two oldest girls read his book! I can see how his testimony, and that of his family, can provide great encourage ...more

I've been wanting to read this book for a year and finally was able to borrow a copy last night. I read it in 2 hours, devouring Jeremy's testimony of how God carried him through tremendous grief to victory in knowing that God works all things together for the good of those who love him. So many of his sentiments echoed the feelings I've experienced over the past year and a half and put words to some truths that God revealed to me over time. I've been a fan of Jeremy's music for years, but readi ...more

This book was so inspirational. Jeremy Camp has went through a lot of tribulation, but has survived by knowing that God is loving. For those who do not know, Jeremy Camp's first wife, Melissa, died from cancer very shortly after they got married. This book shows how his parents became Christians and his struggles during his teenage years, how he grew in his faith due to his first wife's passing, and how he came to love his second wife, Adrienne.

For me, this book encouraged me that God is always

I was interested to pick this up because I've enjoyed Jeremy Camp's music for several years and never knew the whole story about his first wife's battle with cancer (having never been to a concert and not listening to CCM radio, I guess). This was more than an interesting biography, though, it was a very hopeful little tome about living with the sickness and passing of a loved one, and living one's life after a huge loss. I especially appreciated the Scripture notations in the footnotes for furt ...more

I love Jeremy Camp's music and had heard all about what happened with Melissa through mutual friends from Calvary Chapel Bible College. To hear it though in his words and how God helped him heal through songwriting was amazing. I liked how his wife, Adrienne, was brought in to share her perspective. I didn't like the font picked for her words, but that's just the administrative assistant in me LOL. I hope they continue to glorify God through their family life and music!

Amazing book! Very power and also sad during the chapters about his wife's passing. Yes, I cried, but it was amazing to read about their strength and faith in the Lord that they had during and after that hard time. Everyone who loves Jeremy Camp or is looking for a spiritual pick me up should read this book.

I've always loved hearing testimonies, whether from a stranger or from those I am close to. Jeremy Camp shares his testimony, no holds bar, allowing you to see Gods work of grace in his life as though you were his best friend. The testimony is powerful, the message is real, the effect of reading is powerful. I highly recommend this book!

To no surprise, the story of Jeremy Camp's life and road to devotion toward Christ took you through a lense of emotion. Jeremy has been through devastation, prevailing through it all he encourages a strong relationship with Christ through the word and scripture as well as church.

It was awesome to hear that Jeremy's parents attended Assembly of God, and opened their hearts there to Jesus - because my walk with God was amplified by my local Assembly of God church which has become a regular church

Jeremy Camp I Still Believe A Memoir with David Thomas was a book I actually purchased. I was going through a rough time spiritually. I did not get a position I thought I should have gotten. I was so disappointed I actually started to question God's love for me. I told God if he really cared for me then why did he not give me that job. Why did God not answer my prayer about anything. I prayed for people to turn back from the things of the world and return to the Lord. I prayed for a long time. G ...more

Jeremy Camp with David Thomas - "I Still Believe" - Tyndale Publishing, ISBN 978-1-4143-7559: Jeremy Camp's name is not one that you would normally think of as an average person. His name is known throughout the Christian music business for praise and worship music and heart-changing lyrics that share testimonies of faith, unwavering love and trust.

As a young adult leading youth and children, I found his music to be the kind that you would want to hear and share and seemed to make a difference.

I think every Christian should read this book! This is truly an honest and beautiful faith journey. Jesus entered his heart and changed his life. I am impressed that he was so spiritually mature in high school and just grew from there. “I'm not sure what the Lord has in store for my future, but I can say for certain that music is not my life. Christ is my life. I love writing, singing, and playing songs that He gives me to share, but whatever He has for me in five or ten years, I want to be willing to step into it. I never want to hold so tightly to my vocation that I lose out on His higher plan.” 19 likes

You feel you're walking on your own
