Since I suggested our discussion group read and discuss this book, I was a bit concerned about whether or not his book was a good choice for our group. I don't generally like books about war, and I did wonder whether or not I would have a difficult time finishing the book. However, I enjoyed reading about Ernie Pyle and at that point thought maybe I would like the book after all.
