Although this book took me 5 months, it was well worth working through. The first few chapters are about healthy eating in general, followed by 40 lessons that are based on scripture and made up of 4-10 questions.
What I appreciated about this book and why I have and will recommend it to people is that it is centered around the heart, not the stomach. There were many times the lesson was convicting not in the area of gluttony, but in other areas of my life. Case in point, the last lesson today I took 10 minutes to meditate on one of the questions and how what she was asking applied to another area of struggle.
If you're reading this review and wondering if you should get this workbook, you should. I didn't follow the eating plan, nor did I have a group to do it with (it is designed to be worked through in a support group) and it was still incredibly valuable. I'm excited to see how the Lord will continue to use it in my life.

Straight shooting, not a lot of fluff - in fact, it is so small, my friend and I thought it was impossible to be a book of much value. We were wrong! Excellent use of Scripture and great questions that encourage growth.
