1. None
2. Grades 3-6
3. This book briefly describes the water cycle as it follows a raindrop through its process. The book also explains the importance of water to our ecosystem.
4. I liked this book because it's concepts are simply described and are accompanied by helpful illustrations. The brief overview allows for the main ideas to be clearly stated, without getting overcomplicated to learn.
5. This book would be best suited for a science/weather lesson. The students would learn about the water cycle and then do an activity such as recalling the characteristics of water or constructing a model of the water cycle.

I would use this book in my classroom when teaching about the water cycle. The book itself is a little wordy for younger children but it would be suitable for 3rd grade and up. It talks about the various forms of water, salt water vs. fresh water, how some animals can store water in their bodies and why water is important for our survival. In the back of the book it also gives a science experiment to do with putting salt in a cup of water and letting the water evaporate and it will leave behind the salt.

Alissa really liked the experiment on water evaporating and leaving the salt.
