Memoir of a young man from the same small town as I am, a few years younger. He recounts his experiences about being bullied in school and intersperses it with reminiscences about growing up in our agriculturally-centered town.

Well-- he apparently had many hurtful things said and done to him, yet later on in the book he talks about a woman living in the apartment next to him, and describes her in just as hateful a way as the bullies treated him, so I didn't really see how he was any different f
