The naked female body is one of the most pervasive subjects in the history of art. Based on the archeological evidence one could actually argue that it is perhaps the oldest art subject. It has been explored over the millennia in various forms, and in the age of photography has assumed a new and distinct direction. Sylvie Blum’s “Naked Beauty” is the latest addition to that art form and it’s destined to become a classic.

Just about to interview Ms. Blum for an article. This is the fifth book of photography by the former model.

Features a collection of B/w photos of bare female bodies, some are contorted in their poses and some are close up. Insightful. Artsy.
