Fuck. This is addictive. The volume was intense and we got some great backstories. Also Senji is HOT AS HELL.

The first part was all action/ fight scenes. Some good backstories too.. I liked how cleverly it was written.
Then the next part- my favorite: Shiro &Ganta moments.. They are super sweet together! And they even declared their love to each-other!
The ending is perfect! Now that wretched-egg returned, Then let the showdown begin!

Continues to be such a great series.

Everyone bands together to fight the KO squad of the Ninben. Once again their painful pasts are brought up, but this time everyone gets the chance to actually show what happened that hurt them. By looking back at their pasts they also get the chance to work through their problems, something they obviously seriously needed. (view spoiler)

How could you do this to me? They finally, FINALLY, proclaim their love for each other and then you "kill" her to bring back the Wretched Egg?!?!?!?! My emotions are real and they are fragile. And then no library in the state of Maryland has the next book in the series. Like, what the actual fuck? Is everyone in on the joke to torment me? Because it's working.

This is where you get to learn the backstory to the majority of the cast. You get to see why they're in prison and most of the stories are actually interesting. It's a bit formulaic but damn if it didn't make the emotional fights that much better. Overall solid volume once more!

I loved this volume. It's so good! Senji is so cool, I love him! I don't understand Shiro. Is she two people? Or is she possessed or something.

A very dark and dreary manga that takes on a whole new meaning to action. Deadman Wonderland raises the bar for dystopian manga in my opinion and I like it! Some scenes made my stomach roll (which is difficult to do) so this isn't for the faint of heart and really not recommended for those under 16. Otherwise definitely read it if you think you can stomach the blood and limbs flying everywhere. But I definitely dive into this kickass st

Okay, now THIS is what I'm talking about. We get to learn some of the deepest fears of the Deadmen, we get to see some of the new branches of sin and we get some really kickass fights. Really bloody, really painful fights, but that's okay. :) The backstories were really the highlight for me though. I just loved getting a chance to see all these people before all the terrible stuff went down that stuck them in jail in the first place.

This volume has a lot of nice merits that try to conclude the second arc of the story. Makina summons three acquaintances and fires most of the guards of DW (who oddly enough resign and join her dangerous quest to arrest Tamaki).

Ganta meanwhile apologizes to Shiro and Azami and the trio want to locate the control center that powers the drug masks. However a handful of unusually powerful Ninben have showed up to foil Ganta and Makina's plans. Despite the unfavorable odds, the very same Deadmen th

Good volume, I liked learning more about the past of the deadman prisoners. This volume was probably one of the goriest but I'm not bothered by that and it's part of this story. I'm dreading what's happening to Shiro, of course I know there will be bad times for her, and that she's not what Ganta thinks she is, but she's still been my favourite character and one of the most interesting ones because there's such a mystery around her.

In this volume, here is a cliché like shounen anime or manga in general. But, it's like that and I don't bear it. This volume also brings total action and fight scenes. The storytelling is deepened in some characters with a dark backstory to dark. Everything is very well written. Moreover, the ending of the main character and heroine is the best. But, not for me. In addition, there are plot-twist that invite the conflict that will happen in the future.

In this, the 8th volume of Deadman Wonderland, the Deadman are in a battle against the KO group. This is a fairly action packed episode of the books which are about people jailed in a prison and forced to battle in a gladiator style amusement park called Deadman Wonderland. The story moves along well and the artwork is very good.

Me encantan los flashbacks dolorosos de los personajes. No creo que exista un shonen en el que haya pasados felices, los prohíbe la ley.
Ha habido un te quiero de los que duelen, de los que sabes que después de eso no viene nada bueno.

Not as fun as some of the other ones, particularly because of a certain character’s past. But things happened and I think that everything is about to go wrong!

At the start I struggled to keep up with this volume because I didn't know it was doing flashbacks but then started understanding it all with the constant jumping from one part to another

Wasn't a fan of this one.
A whole lot of nothing and going no where. Lots of blood for really no reason. Badly drawn action scenes compared to other manga I've read.
The end of the volume was actually pretty decent, but not enough to make up for the rest of it.

Deadman Wonderland 8 really brings on the action as once again Ganta must rise from the lowest of depths in order to survive and protect his friends. But we're also given some interesting backgrounds and insights into several characters' surprising pasts (including Peacock, Crow, and Condor) during the battles. But really, mostly notably Shiro is badly beaten and about to 'awaken' just as both she and Ganta pledge their

This volume kind of astounded me.

There are some gorgeous color pages, and then we get back to the fighting. The group splits up, Ganta’s Deadmen friends splitting up the enemies to fight them. It’s extremely brutal, and I don’t quite understand how they’re not all dead, but it’s intense. We also get each of their pasts, why they’re in prison. It’s so well-done, and so horrible.

Then Ganta fights with a deadman, and Shiro ends up in the crosshairs. And it’s horrible for Shiro, especially fro

What the hell's happening here? This was such a great manga! So brutal and different from other stories I've heard, but lately the overall quality has been declining steadily. The plot that used to be unpredictable is becoming more and more shonen-like. The one-on-one battles between the Unit Forgeries and Deadmen follow the cliche formula of flashbacks of depressing backstories, almost losing only to make a come back a moment later after some zen realization and then (view spoiler) ...more

This is without a doubt one of the most exciting and dramatic installments of the series. The main cast all face off their respective forgery opponents while flashing back to their respective traumas. By this they face the enemies of their present as well as the demons of their past.

These characters are hardcore! Everyone just kicked major buttocks. Senji was, as usual, my favorite but I really can't deny that everyone did damage.

Oh, and dat cover... my favorite character rocking red. Love~
