When you know you don't know what you don't know it's sometimes hard to find the right questions to ask. This book is a great place to start! It covers types of tools and how to use them; lawn, tree, and shrub care; vines and ground covers; flower and harvest gardening; soil and composting; water features; caring for garden structures; animal and insect pests; plus lots of resources. It's well written and easy to understand.
This book was good for a novice yard and garden owner.
It gave a lot of basic information covering a wide range of topics for your yard. I did read through it just to see what was said on each topic, I know some of it was spring dreaming or I would have put it down and moved onto something deeper in yard care. It only took a few nights to go through the whole book. Makes me want to get my hands back in the soil asap... as soon as spring arrives. I already knew what planting I wanted to do and where in the yard this year, but it was good to have a reference and just read up on yardwork. I enjoyed it more since I know this season is on it's way.
